Booted by Blip

I just logged into my blip.tv account, where Holding the Sticks is hosted, only to find out that they've changed their terms of service and my show no longer fits in with their business model. My account there is cancelled as of today (although it appears they have allowed me to upload a short episode to explain today). Those of you who watch the show here or on YouTube won't notice the change at all. However, if any of you have subscribed through iTunes or Downcast, the show will no longer be updated there.

After the first of the year when the budget will (hopefully) allow, I will look into other iTunes compatible hosting for the show. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Update

Hi all! I just wanted to pop in here to apologize for not recording the last couple of weeks. Life has been getting in the way. I had every intention of putting an episode up this week but am unexpectedly having to work lots of extra hours doing data entry this week and possibly next. If I can I'll record later this week. If not, I will be back to it as soon as I can.

I have a lot to share with you, especially on the fitness front since I've started working with an experienced runner who hosts a ladies running group early Sunday mornings. I've learned a ton and upped my weekly mileage. It's fun and exciting! And of course, I've made progress on my knitting and spinning projects too. That Miss Babs fiber I was spindle spinning turned out So pretty! :)

Thanks for hanging in there with me! I appreciate all of you who watch.

Episode Delay

Hi folks, I'm in the happy position of having to take care of several things and pick up a new car this week, so no podcast will be forthcoming. That makes 2 weeks in a row, I know, but just need a little time out for now. I didn't want anyone to think I'd disappeared or anything! In the meantime, I hope you'll all get outside and enjoy nature, watch some playoff hockey, and finish up those projects started before April 15th, 2013 to enter into the Finish-Along! You have 'til the end of the month to qualify for the prize. Thanks for hanging in there with me, y'all! :) Emily

Episode 11 Postponed.

I’ve had a nasty head cold for the past several days. Although I’m feeling better, you really don’t want to see or hear me like this! So, I’m going to take the week off from the podcast. Holding the Sticks will return on its regular schedule next week! :)

I hope all of you are doing well & staying out of the penalty box! ::pointed look:: ;) But seriously, be kind to one another & keep on crafting!

Work & Valentine's Day Couples Massages
I took on extra data entry work this week. =P
Been feeling overwhelmed and a soap box about depression.
PLEASE understand that when I say there are certain things I have to be vigilant about to keep my depression at bay, sometimes it doesn't work and the depression gets me anyway. Depression is NOT a character flaw any more than cancer is. It's a terrible, awful disease that kills people every day. :( I didn't want anyone to take what I said the wrong way.
